Unfinished building for more than 7yrs
10-Jul-2026 (In Property Law)
The building is still under construction for more that 7 yrs the building is not yet completed Even though the payment is done
Based on the facts stated, a delay of more than 7 years after receiving the full payment may amount to deficiency in service and breach of contract by the builder. Please keep all documents such as the Builder-Buyer Agreement, payment receipts, allotment letter, and any correspondence with the builder. Depending on the terms of the agreement, you may have the right to seek possession of the property, claim compensation for the delay, seek a refund with interest, or pursue other appropriate legal remedies before the competent Consumer Commission or other appropriate forum. A detailed examination of the documents will help determine the most suitable legal course of action.
