Unfinished building for more than 7yrs

The building is still under construction for more that 7 yrs the building is not yet completed Even though the payment is done
Since the entire sale consideration has been paid and the project remains incomplete even after more than 7 years, you have legal remedies against the builder. If the project is covered under RERA, you can file a complaint before the State RERA Authority seeking possession with compensation for delay or a refund of the entire amount with applicable interest. You may also approach the Consumer Commission for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices. If there is evidence of dishonest intention or misappropriation, appropriate criminal proceedings may also be considered. Keep all documents such as the Builder-Buyer Agreement, payment receipts, correspondence, and brochures ready.
