Trees in my property cut without permission

02-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
I have a plot of land in Kerala. I live in Bangalore. In my plot, there were two major trees (one tamarind and one Strychnine tree) and many coconut trees.Neighbors there at the adjacent plot have issues with these trees, which is nowhere entering their plot. Since these two trees are on the opposite side of the boundary touching their land. So they have cut these two major trees completely without my permission and in my absence and my knowledge. Is there any legal action that I can take?

Definitely... You can file a suit before the civil court. And you are entitled to get the injunction against the trespassers. You can lodge a complaint before the police station as well against the unlawful actions of the neighbour.
