Transfer of property by gift deed if I have a criminal case pending

Religion is Hindu Hi I'm accused by my wife under IPC 420 & 406 cases, currently the case is ongoing. Now i need to gift deed a property which under my name to by own elder Sister. Until now my wife has not claimed for the property. Could you please advise your views on this move.
Sir, if it is self acquired property of you, then you can gift your property to any person irrespective of a caste and religion. Your wife has no right to claim during you alive. She has a right to claim maintenance during her life time .
