Transfer of ownership of property on my name from husband's name

My husband purchased a house in his home town . The title is in his name. Now we are going through a bad phase in relationship and i dont trust him. His name is on mortgage and he is paying it. Can i get the house transferred to my name. I get thw sole ownership of the house. I am hindu.
No, that will not be possible without his consent. Legally, he is the owner of the property. For you to have the title, he will have to willfully transfer it to you through means of a gift deed, sale deed etc.
