Transfer of Joint Property Khata To Single Name

07-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
Can someone help me with a Small Query - both my daughter and son-in-law own a property and stay outside Bangalore. I want to know that whether Transfer of Khata of a Joint Property in a Single name is Allowed and if so are there any legal implications of the same. Asking this question as Transfer of Khata require submission of an additional Affidavit which a bit challenging in getting in current scenario. Look forward to help in the matter Regards

The khatha will be issued jointly and not in a single name. For applying Khatha you have keep certified copy of sale deed and other relevant documents and ID proofs of owners of the property like aadhar card and voter ID is requited it has to be applied at jurisdictional corporation office
