Transfer of House in my Name as my Father Passed Away without will

My Father passed away in April 2017. My mother is also not alive. My Father has not left any will. What is the procedure to transfer house in my name. I and my brother are only legal heirs. What will be the exact cost and procedure to transfer flat in my name. Is succession certificate or legal heir certificate necessary? or is there any shortcut method to transfer flat?

Respected sir,

For giving solution to your query i have to know where is your flat situated?
Whether society has formed or not?
if there is society and your flat is situated in mumbai then you have to submit society transfer forms along with your brother noc and public notice

Dear Querist,
Requirements of succession certificate varies from society to society because it certifies that who are legal heirs of deceased.

If committee of society are ready and willing to accept indemnity bond then it can be transferred or else Succession Certificate is required.
Cost includes, court fees, legal fees and expenses.
