Thumb impression instead of signature

Hi, I am a educated person and working in MNC but due to anxiety I can not write. I lost my confidence of writing. Now I am afraid of signing my parents property documents.. Is there any option where I can only use thumb impression instead of signature?

Embosding Thumb impression on property documents which are supposed to be registered is a mandatory requirement, to ensure that the buyer and seller are sacrosanct. Making of signature on property document registration process can be dispensed with, take prior permission of Sub-Registrar concerned. Buyers can be easily dispensed with. Don't give this liberty to seller.
