Hi. Thi is shweta our 3 property is on dispute one of my sister disputed the properties there 2 ancestral properties 1 is self property of my father. May father has transferred that self wones property in to my name. Is that ligal coz. That property is in despite as I said above my sister disputed that property and in court one of judgement had mentioned that those properties has to stay the same status co not be sale or transfer. Please guide me is that transfer property is ligal. It is in my name now

Dear ma’am,

If it is self acquired property of your father and if he has transferred it to you then it is valid. However it is subject to what judgment says. If that judgment has come before the transfer then it will be contempt of court. If that judgment has come after the transfer then not to worry.
