sub : Regarding weather shade above my residence main door.

I live in mhada bldg In Mumbai where mhada made my main door outside the bldg ,between the main door and compound wall I have a passage which is my only regular way to use On the above passage with the permission of society resident I made a shade covering with Grill and Gate , for safety reason . Now the Opposite bldg society complain to BMC about my shade as illegal construction and BMC gives me a notice , what should I do , I have no option to do so. otherwise mishappening appears every day because my main door is outside of the bldg. please guide me .
You can drag BMC to Court and prompt them to clear their stand towards the alleged irregularities. Whole Mumbai is full of Illegal Structures. For Minute Illegalities, they should ignore, like in your case of Shade.

File a suit as you have received a notice from BMC
Unless there is a stay on the same the other society will keep harassing you
Ideally it is illegal as you have engaged the common area of the society to cover your own house for safety reasons
