Step son's claim in mother's property

25-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My mother died last year intestate. He was the second wife of my mother who previously had two children from his first marriage. I was born out of the wedlock of my mother and father. We have no relationship with one of my step brothers (call him A) and After the death of my mother, my father had debarred him through a public notice. Now can A claim a right in my mother's self acquired property?

Hello client, I have seen your query carefully and found that you are the only son of your mother who was having a self acquired property. After the death of your mother the property of your deceased mother will be distributed according to the provisions of Hindu succession Act wherein your step brothers are not covered. Your step brother can not claim in the property of your mother however they are entitled to get share in the property of your father. I think you should get all the answers to your enquiry. still any questions or need any further information please contact me through the administrator of this website
