Staying in property for 12 year can we claim adverse possession

I purchased a land in 2003 through unregistered sale deed. Till new they didn't turned up to register a land. As RTC is in there name i am scared that they may pledge the land for loan or they may resell it.Please give me some legal advice that can we stop them from doing so using injunction order using the unregistered sale deed or adverse possesion act as we are in position more than 12 yrs
