If you have probated will then court fees would be 3.25 percent of the total property value. If you have probated will then there is no need of letter of administration . For further clarification, feel free to reach me. Thanks

Legal Reply (Probate Stamp Duty – Delhi Jurisdiction): In Delhi, the stamp duty for probate or letter of administration is governed by Article 24 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, as applicable in Delhi. Stamp Duty Payable: For immovable property valued at ₹46 lakhs, the stamp duty is 4% for women and 5% for men, based on the market value of the property, plus ₹100 as court fee. Calculation Example (if male applicant): 5% of ₹46,00,000 = ₹2,30,000 (stamp duty) ₹100 (court fee) Total: ₹2,30,100 approx. Where to Pay: Duty is paid via e-stamp paper at the time of final issuance of probate by the District Judge, Tis Hazari, or appropriate probate court. Let me know if you need a probate petition draft or calculation for female applicants. Adv. Mahinder Singh Mavi
