Society refusing to issue share certificate due to lack of documents

This matter is pertaining to issue of share certificate of my flat. My father had purchased flat in 2012. We had some dispute with our estate agent /broker wherein which he did not gave us agreement (original) and we did not paid brokerage. My society is refusing to issue share certificate due to lack of original agreement

you may file complaint before cooperative registrar as well as before concerned police against both i.e. society and the said broker for not giving original document and also for non issuance of share certificate. you may also take out the certified copy of said agreement from concerned registrar office and on basis of said copy may again apply for share certificate.

Ur information is incomplete. How come the Original Agreement has gone in the hands of the said agent ? The Original Agreement should be in the custody of the Seller from whom ur father had purchased the flat. The said agent is only a middleman to complete the transaction. Secondly the Share Certificate should be with the seller. On completion of the transaction the shares are transferred by the society after entering the same int their Share Transfer Transfer Certificate and the note is made on the Share Certificate. Pl clarify ur self and contact
