Society not accepting regd gift deed and demand stamp duty payment

14-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
My father has flat at Rail Vihar CHS, Kolkata. We are a Hindu family. He gifted the property to me with consent of my two sisters and mother out of love and affection and his blessings. Said deed was duly registered by paying Gift Stamp duty. My name is already registered in the Nomination form registered in Society office duly signed by my father and witnesses. The Committee of Rail Vihar do not want to accept this Registered Gift deed. They say that either you register with full stamp duty payment again or when your father expires then they will issue an NOC from the Society and then I have to register again paying full Stamp duty. What should I do now. Can I apply for Rectification deed and pay difference of Stamp duty. Should I do it now or after my father's death? I am not of good means and my husband is unemployed.

the stamp duty of a property is different for sale deed and gift deed. again the rate of stamp duty is changeable in accordance to whom the gift is made. if you could meet me once with the deed then it would be better to advice you this kind of matter.

Respected Madam/ Sir
I read your matter very carefully and I like to suggest you to file both criminal and civil case and constitutional Writ petition.
As you have Registered Deed of Gift you have every right to enter your name.

Sir
I do not understand the nature in which you have registered the Gift Deed. As without the payment of the full stamp duty , the registering authority would not have issued the deed. So far the nomination part of the Co-operative Societies Act is understood.
What difference you are taking about.
Thanks
