Share of daughter in property if father died

Is property rights to a daughter if the father died before the amendment came into force. I.e 9sept 2005

Here you have not stated about the mother, if mother and father expired before the notified date , then no right in the ancestors property , kindly refer recent supreme court judgment , Prakash vs. Pulavatti.

madum/sir, YOU did not stated whether it is self acquired property or ancestral one. If it is self acquired she has an equal share. If it is an ancestral property, unless say details of their bio data and position of her in the family it cannot be decided. If you meet with document i can assist you.

No, as per the law both the father and the daughter are required to have been alive on the crucial date of enactment. In all other cases the daughters have no right to property of the father unless left behind in a will.
