Share Certificate stolen by the seller

05-Dec-2024 (In Property Law)
My MHADA CHS society share certificate was stolen by the seller after the ownership transfer. How can I get that share certificate? What legal steps should I take to protect my ownership rights and ensure smooth property transactions in the future?

You must apply to the society for a duplicate copy of the share certificate in respect of your flat. You can also apply to MHADA for the same. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.
