Is that a property of your father-in-law or ancestral property ? 2. Are you an Hindu? IF yes, then the settlement deed is invalid. The settlement deed can be revoked before the court of law. Get a stay order in the first instance and maintain the status quo of the property then subsequently cancel the settlement deed by obtaining an order from the same court. You have a good case. Take it to a good property lawyer in your locality.
