Selling of self owned property by parents in which you have contribute

15-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
I have paid loan and provided money in cash for buying a property which is on my mother’s name. Can my parents sell that property without my consent. If they did will they be liable to give me my share which i hv contributed in acquiring that property after selling. Can they name the entire property to my sister when i have contributed in buying it?

Yes your parents can do all those things of which you r worried Above as on paper’s it’s their property and until u claim your share in it legally proving that you have contributed as you have claimed then they have a free will to do what they want send them a legal notice claiming your share and sort out things thru mediation

Yes your parents can sell the property to anyone without your consent if that is under their names no matter even if you have paid the instalments. However, you are equally entitled for recovery of amount from your patents which you have paid ..
