Sell my share of house property to bank in order to clear the loan.

My father and his brother have a house in their name. The house is mortgaged and the loan liabilitu is also for both of them.My father wants to sell the property and clear the loan but his brother does not agree. Can my father sell his share to the bank to clear his share of loan and get the remaining proceeds left in our share?
your father want to sale his share in join Immovable property mortgage with bank As coloteral security , they can but untill bank Agree , if bank agree to purchase the property you can't sale, thanks
