Sale of Undivided joint property

02-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
My mother, sister ( married and lives apart) and I are coowners of two houses in North Kolkata. We have three tenants in one house and another one in the house where we live in. Last month my sister informed that she will sell her property rights to a third party with or without our consent by August. She won't talk nor meet us. What can be done legally by me and my mother to handle this situation?

fike a partition suit let the court decide which portion who gets. In this way you can defeat her intention of selling the property. Further you must keep in mind that all three of you have equal right in the property.
