Sale deed can be legally ok if payment details are not there

22-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
Need to get into an final sale deed without mentioning the payment details. Only total consideration amount will be there in teh sale deed and it will be SRO registered. Will it impact the legal transfer of ownership? I am doing this as getting the same property at discounted rate below the circle rate. I am ok to pay the stamp duty as per circle rate.

Hello there!

Payment schedule under the Sale Deed is an essential part of the Sale Deed. You should mentioned it in Sale Deed. Even if the consideration value is less than market value it would not hamper your sale transaction. you will just have to pay stamp duty on market value of the property.

yes. you can do it. the amount will have to in cash though. the stamp duty will be payable as per the ready reckoner rates prevailing at the time of execution of the sale deed. if it is a resale property, you could calculate the concession as per depreciation of the value of the same.
