I and my husband bought a new property. The agreement of the flat is on my name, I.e I am the owner of the property and my husband is the second owner.. My husband passed away due to Covid last year. So for getting the sale deed done of the flat, do I require a succession certificate from court? Please guide

If you want to sale the said flat which is in the joint name of you and your husband , then you have to get a heirship or succession certificate for selling the said property if your husband has died intestate. Buyer's bank generally ask for sellers heirship to approve him housing loan for the purchase of the said flat.
