Sale agreement EC entry still reflecting

Hi builder has done sale agreement to a party with 60L cash payment mentioned in registered sale agreement and it’s more then 6 years completed as buyer didn’t approach for sale deed registration and then without cancellation of sale agreement the builder has sold the same property to another buyer stating the sale agreement is void as they have crossed 6 year of time. Now I am facing an issue of sale agreement party name is reflecting in EC so how can it be removed legally.
A registered sale agreement does not automatically become void after 6 years even if it is so mentioned in the sale agreement. the entry will get cancelled either by brth parties both the parties cancel the same in front of sub registrar or by an order of the court to that effect.
