Getting Job on compassionate grounds is not a condition to bar someone from claiming the property which he is legally entitled to have unless you have made any agreement averse to the present facts . Actually in the present facts and circumstances they are no body to prevent you from claiming the property and you can validly file a partition suit against it

After going through your query, here is the solution. If the property is self acquired or in the name of your mother, no body including your brothers could deny the right to stay in the house,it is only your mother can tell you to leave or stay since she is the owner of the property (if you are saying it right).

File a police complaint saying that you are being troubled by your brothers and they are threatening you to leave the house. The Police will take care of the issue or you can file a civil suit seeking injunction orders against your brother but you will have to make your mother party in the said suit as plaintiff so that she can depose to the extent that she is the owner of the property and she does not wish to oust you from the said property. Let your brothers contest the suit, they will have to take a back step since they are not the owner and don't have anything to say or deny your rights in the property.
