Right of widow daughter in law in father in law property

We were two sons to my father. My elder brother passed away 5 years ago before my father. He was living with her wife in seperate house which also belonged to my father. Want to know what are the right of my brothers wife in my fathers properties. She have an adopted girl child with her.
Query perused. You have not mentioned that whether your father had left a will or not. In case he has written a Will, the property will be given in terms of the Will. But in case he has died intestate, then the property will be equally shared amongst the class 1 legal heirs. Since your brother is no more, it will be equally shared by widow of the predeceased son i.e., your brothers wife. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.
