Right of my mother over her father's property after his death

02-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello sir/madam, My mom is 65 years old. She is the eldest and only daughter with 4 brothers. Both my grandparents have expired, my grandfather in 2004. He has a house in 400 yards area which my uncle's are planning to sell now and are not interested in sharing it with my mom. According to them she is not eligible for a share. Is it true? Please suggest.

Hi,

Yes your mother can claim her share from her brothers for which first you have to issue Legal Notice through advocate to brothers of your mom for demanding her share, if they not respond to the Legal notice then your mother or you can file the suit for partition to claim share.
