Dear Client,
A joint purchase of the property entitles both the person to have equal share in the property unless specified in the purchase document otherwise. Since both the parties are having equal undivided share in the property, on the death of one person his legal heirs become entitled to half share of the property and the remaining half share is with you. Thus you children and you become entitled to half share of your husband and you become entitled to half share
