Residential property taxed additionally if used for business purpose
15-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
I am planning to start a recruitment consultancy and will be working on this business from home. For this I need to register a one person company and I need a registered address for the company. I am staying in a rented apartment in Bangalore and my landlord has agreed to give me an NOC for the same, but his only concern is whether he has to pay additional property tax if his residential space is being used as registered address for a commercial entity. What are the legal implications of this?
You can't start this company at your residential apartment as per law even though your owner has given permission to it. Yoiu have to register your company if you want the the status of company to your business, you can register it under company act 1956 at ROC (Registrar of Companies) at your place.
