Requesting for stay orders for property dispute
09-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi We have a property in a village around 100 Kms from Patna. My father-in-law was a civil engineer and moved to Chhatisgarh 40 years ago, though often visited his village. He died in 1991 in an unfortunate accident, survived by his wife and 3 kids. All relatives abandoned the family after taking away all that my father-in-law had left for the family. The family lived a miserable life before the kids grew to get settled in their lives. We started to get in touch with the relatives looking for our share of the property, but were never informed and we have no papers of the property. All we have is the proof that we are from the same family. We recently got to know that our relatives are selling the property without informing us. And as we have almost no acquaintances there, we will need some time to find a lawyer to build up our case. At this moment we just want a stay order from the court to stop the land deal being done. Please advice what should we do.
Well without the knowledge of specific information of the property you can't get any stay or any legal help which youcan restrain your family members from selling or doing any kind of transaction of that land
