Rent to bachelors

Sir,
I own a flat in the city gandhinagar and want to give it on rent to working bachelors ( group of 4 persons) but some of the flat members are resisting and forbading me to give it on rent to bachelors by quoting that they make nuissance. They are forcing me to give my flat on rent to some family members. Please guide me whether i am bound to follow society rules although society has not formed yet since flat is new??
Hi,
There is no such rule in the society that you cannot rent out your flat to bachelors, however you cannot run a PG or Guest House or do any commercial activity in CGHS flats unless permitted by law of the concern state.

One can give one's flat to bachelors and one can give to family also. There is no restriction by any Govt. agency or Govt body. But keeping in view the need and social requirements, the owner should ensure that only desirable persons live in that flat.
