The Power of Attorney given by a person ceases on the death of the person who gave it unless it is an Irrevocable Power of Attorney. In your case, the General Power of Attorney ceases to have any value on the death of the executor of the GPA,

No..

Law does not allows the power of attorney holder to take steps based on the power of attorney if the person who gave those powers is dead.

Even if you go ahead and sell any property in the basis of the said power of attorney document then it will be criMinal offence.
