Regarding registering property under both Husband and wife's name

My wife is single applicant for home loan, however I would be contributing towards the EMI equally. Can we register the property in both our names or only wife's name is allowed by bank ?

It is advisable to be the co owner of the property along with your wife. You will also be paying the EMI equally. You are advised to be a co owner of the property and also the co applicant in the loan application.
