Regarding a case filed against me related to a gifted property by mom

My father had purchased a land in chickaballapur town some 17yrs back in my mother's name. Last year she has made gift deed to me. Now 6 months back we have made sale agreement to some outside purchaser, they are yet to get it registered. Now, our family member (mother's brother) has filed a case against us claiming it to be family property and asking for a share in the property, when infact it is self purchased by my mom from some outside owner. No where other family members name is mentioned.
if your uncle has filed case against yo alleging that the property family property the it is for hin to prove it in Court. you engage a good lawyer to defend your side and show that your father he had sufficient income from his earnings to buy that property
