Query pertaining to the maintenance of a disputed property

27-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
I live in a disputed property which was own by my Great Grand-father. He died without any "Will'. And now in this property his four sons i.e. my grandfather's family and his three brother's families live with separate portions and separate entrances in the same plot. Now I want to renovate my portion in terms of changing the flooring, wall panelling, false ceiling, shifting the kitchen etc. But it does not include any demolition of structural walls or any construction. So my question is by any way the other three families can halt our work or create any problems by getting any stay order or by complaining in the Municipal Department ?

Hi,
You may do renovation in your portion without any problem until that renovation doesn't bother the structural walls of the building .
Incase of any trouble feel free to have a word with me.
All the best
