Purchased a property in Hubli , mortgaged by bank, No details in EC

We have a sale deed registered , Seller had loan & mortgaged in a bank. No such details not available in EC. Paid money to the seller to his account in same bank by opening our account. Bank said they take money from his account and clear the loan. But same not done. Property is registered in our name But bank gave a notice to us to recover the money of defaulter of seller. Now we are fix after paying huge money to seller. Seller is absconding. What to do
You made blunder by not involving a lawyer but relying on own wisdom and words of seller and bank people. The bank staff and officers colluding with seller have cheated you. At least now engage a lawyer and file a police complaint - you hay only ste 10% chane of coming out of this mess.
