Prporty Transfer in Maharashtra

We are having ancestral property (Land) in Maharashtra with joint ownership (co-owners are Myself, Father & Father's Sister(Aunt)) Now My father & Aunt want to release their share to me so that I can have 100% ownership in the said property. What is the way of transfer, either relinquish deed/Released Deed or Gift deed or any other way of transfer so that government duties will be minimal.

My Response to your query:


You can go before register and make registration of release of all right with respect of that property from your father and aunt to you. You have to pay there registration fee also as per registry charges.

You can Register Release Deed in single Registration of both. Release deed is better for you.You can register Release Deed in Subregistrar office of the area of land where land is situated.You can Register Release Deed in single Registration of both. Release deed is better for you.You can register Release Deed in Sub-registrar office of the area of land where land is situated.
