Property transfer in name of mother by younger son forcefully

21-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello sir, My father expired few months ago and he left a WILL clearly stating that our 2 storey house should be divided among the two( Between me and my elder brother). According to the will the first floor is in my name and the ground in my elder brother's. But now the problem is that my elder brother is forcing me to transfer the property name in the name of our mother. But I doubt that if this happens then my elder brother would take larger portion of our property( I am talking about the money that we will get after selling property) by false activities and brain washing her. And if I want to shift to a new place then also I cannot sell the upper portion of my house because now its not in my name anymore. So I am stuck that if I want to shift in near future then my elder brother would definitely create some problem and would not agree to sell this house by manipulating my mother. In such situation what should I do so that I am safe and secure. We belong to a hindu family. Thanks.

You should not agree with this. You may get probate of that will. You refuse to give consent for transferring the property in the name of your mother. You may sell your portion. For for details contact.
