property separation among 3 brothers

there is a property of my grandpa and he died few years back. he has 3 sons. two of them have shifted in other house and one lives at the same property of grandpa. as per my opinion grandpa's property shall be divided equally between all of them.. but the one who living there in not in favour.. what should i do??

In the matter we need to know whether it's a hindu family or otherwise and date of demise of your grandpa for appropriate reply. You have an option to file a civil suite seeking partion of ancestral property.
