Property issue challenged by uncles.

16-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
About 40 years ago my Grandfather transferred a part of land to my father's name. Now, after my father's death, it is transferred on mother's name. One of our uncle is asking share in it. Plz guide how to handle it.

If the part of your property is already transferred in your father name by valid and registered documentation then your uncle cannot claim his share in the same If he wishes to claim he has to approach court and accordingly obtain an injunction against your mother And if he doesn’t do the same in no circumstances can he claim the same from your mother

Well, figure out on what basis he is asking for share. Whether he has legitimate claim or not. If your Father had made a Will & transferred his part of the Land to your Uncle, then he has a legitimate claim.
