Property booked with builder but no possession is granted

I had booked a property in Kanhaiya city Nagpur with Jham builders, in the year 2010. However no possession visibility also builder not responding to phone calls.
Under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 , If the builder defaults and delays the possession of the property as per the 'agreement of sale', the buyer has the right to claim the refund of the amount paid along with interest.

You need to issue notice for delayed possession and for recovery of damages you are already much late in taking legal recourse. You need to file a consumer complaint. Now as per new law you can also file a police complaint.

When you booked a property, you make a agreement. Whether the agreement is registered. You send notice to the builder by lawyer.in the year 2010 when u booked the property he mentioned any date on which year he will give u the possession of the property. You are not given details.
