process of name change in property papers and legal heir certificate

sir, am living in andhra pradesh but my native is tamil nadu, in my family we 3 brothers and 1 sister am the elder. 15days back my father passed away due to ill. he not made any will. we have property of 4 houses in tamil nadu. among my brothers and sister have share of this property all are unmarried. currently we would change the name of my father in municipal tax receipt as well electricity bill. this property from my grandfather. I wants to know your valuable advice above issue. i want legal heir certificate which can i get from andhra or tamil nadu. what are the process. kindly reply to me.

You didn't mention which place of your native place because the legal heir certificate only file by place of birth and living

You have to obtain the legal heirs certificate from the Tahsildar having jurisdiction over your father's last place of residence, whether it was in AP or TN. Your father's mother if alive shall also be a legal heir, besides your mother.
