Dear queriest,
You cannot claim in mother's property. It is her will to whom she wants to give inherit rights or otherwise. However, if property in question titled on your mother's nameor she has recieved the said property by decietful means u can cancel such medium through court.

Dear property distribution as per Hindu joint family HUF law is very clear that if the property has been acquired by the person from his / her own source / income then the owner of that property can give it to any one, if the property is inherited then all legal hires have equal right..

You have no right in the property of your parents if you are major. Parents are absolute owners of their property and they have every right to give the same to anyone. You can't do anything. If you are minor then the parents are bound to provide maintenance
