Procedure to claim share in father's property by children of 2nd wife

I belong to ST koya tribe.my father has passed away recently 1 week back.we the second wife children aren't married and have any right on my father property

As per succession rules illegitimate children's are entitled to father's self acquired properties if he died intestate but not eligible to share in ancestral property....

If it is your father's property,after his demise you also can get share in that property provided no alienation be takes place and your share will be along with your full and half blood siblings hind succession act will decide the share values.

Though you are the children of second wife you are having rights over the property of your father as illegitimate children. you may file a case against the remaining legal heirs for partition of the properties.
