police getting involve in Civil matter

We have a land which we bought in 1999. 2 years back we found that register we have doesnt have gaata number & the seller resold the land to other person. Now the case is going on in Akbarpur court. But the seller went to police & put application mentioning that he did the our register as we frightened him. What can we do so the police dont get involve in this civil matter.
police can not get involve unless it is shown there are chances of occurrence of crime. you can also complaint to police for the same.
once u obtain order from court police will distant away itself.
