Plot registry without size mention in the document how to rectify it

My mother bought a plot in 2012 from buyer.the area of the plot is 2500 square feet but length and width is not mention in the registry.the plot is small part of his bigger ploting.we want to sell our plot but without length and width no buyer is ready to buy.please solve our problem.Seller is not cooperating us. What should we do?
For this you can visit the office of tehsildar which is nearest to you. You can give him an application in writing for the rectification of the mistakes in the documents. You can also visit some special office if the authorities in your state have made any special department for this purpose.
