Ownership of power of attorney documents
11-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
Once the agent has sold the property on behalf of principal now who keeps original power attorney document, the new owner of property, the agent or the principal?
The principal delegates all its power to the power of attorney holder through power of attorney. The power of attorney holder will always keep it with himself. if power of attorney is a registered document you can keep a certified copy of GPA with yourself or if it is unregistered then you can annex a photo copy of GPA with the sale deed at the time of registration of the sale deed. for further legal assistance feel free to contact me
