NRI Power of Attorney - where to get notarised

16-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
Hey, I am an NRI, and want to transfer POA to my father in Hyderabad. I am interested in buying a property in Bangalore. Should the POA be notarized in Hyderabad or in Bangalore? I am Hindu. Don't know if this has any impact on the rules.

Being a NRI if you want to furnish POA you have to get attested before your present country embassy and same has to submit to your father who is in Hyderabad , such attested documents from the embassy are considered to be valid documents for registration or any legal aspects

1. POA should b attested by the indian embassy.
2. your POA need not be notarized but its mandatorily should b registered with local sub-registrar and the same should be registered on official gazatte.
3. talk to a lawyer for more information.
