Under the new land acquisition act the acquisition/notice for acquisition lapses after a certain period of time, also there are certain supreme court judgement which say that if compensation is not paid the land has to be restored back to the original owner. After considering the full facts of your case, i would be in a better position to advice you further.

You need to appoint a lawyer at Ahmadnagar who may take proper care of litigation and if not filed then then you need to file a land reference application and a civil suit for your relies before nagar district court
