Neighbour tree branches overhanging the fence

23-May-2025 (In Property Law)
Dear Sir/Madam, I am seeking advice on how to proceed with trimming tree branches that are overhanging onto my property. This issue has been ongoing for some time, and although I have asked my neighbour to address it, no action has been taken. Am I permitted to trim the branches that extend onto my side of the property, or is there a specific process I should follow in this situation?

Dear Sir/Madam, Though the tree belongs to the owner, he/she cannot just ignore the overhanging branches into their neighborhood. Inspite of your request if he/she fails to trim the branches. You can cut the branches so long as you could do so ,without entering upon the land of the owner of the tree as it causes nuisance to you. Hope this clarifies.
